Charming with a dash of quirkiness
The sincere hospitality from the staff was the highlight of my stay. They were very good, effortlessly carrying my luggage up the stairs and generously provided local dining tips. Breakfast was good, with freshly baked pastries that started my day off perfectly.
The room was on the small side and slightly dated but clean. A bit of noise from the street added to the ambiance but may be a detractor for light sleepers.

That was little hotel set in beautiful area, right by the central train terminal, the Duomo, San Lorenzo and all the other major sights in Florence. The room I had was perfectly clean and cosy with large bathroom and the staff was nice.

Rooftop terrace, central location, authentic interior design
Plus, with only one plug socket located awkwardly at floor level, charging devices is a messy challenge. The small bathroom lacks sufficient mounting, leaving much to be desired!!!

Plenty of food at breakfast, such as coffee, cereals, and pastries. Exceptionally comfortable beds and a mini-bar, climate control, and a personal safe...

The proximity to the museums and other places we wanted to see was fantastic!! The staff was so nice.
Some of the staff speak very little english so communication was a little tricky. However, the staff was extremely nice and we ended up calling the older man Papa Firenza. The room did have a somewhat musty smell

It was within walking distance to train station and the main tourist attractions.
The breakfast was less than expected. Just cereal, fruit, croissant, and juice. No meat or cheeses.

The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the major attractions like the dome and the market. The staff were cute, providing helpful tips on where to eat nearby. The room was clean, with a cozy atmosphere and reliable hot water in the shower.

Ac was not cool, Internet did not work in rooms, had to buzz someone to get in (guess that is a reflection on the area of town). Breakfast area was cramped and uncomfortable. Bathroom shower was a shower head in corner of bathroom with curtain (not even a waterproof shower curtain), with every shower the entire bathroom would be wet (including the sink, toilet, toilet paper...)

Good overall experience. Quirky small place with great location very close to the main centre and all the, all the "must see " in Florence, and the touristic areas. Nice and welcoming staff with good manners. They provided perfect service

I really enjoyed my stay, especially the spacious room that exceeded my expectations and the reliable hot water in the shower. The only downside was that I struggled with the one plug socket being too far from the bed. Still, I would definitely come back!

Staff were fantastic and the location in the heart of Florence was excellent. Very small rooms but very good value for money. Breakfast was cheap and cheerful and the room smelt due to humid bathroom.
Rooms too tiny but good cheep hotel for one or two nights overall

The location was great - less than ten minutes walking from the train station even with luggage. It was also really easy to walk to all the major sites. We realized very quickly that nothing in Florence is really far away. There was a sweet little old man at reception when we arrived in the evening to get us checked in. Younger staff during the day was very helpful and easy to talk to. Breakfast was fine - good cappuccinos, and one time when there wasn't a table for us near the end of breakfast, the man working behind the desk brought us food to our room so we wouldn't have to wait and said not to worry about the time window.
